This year’s event, scheduled for February 28 at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena, is already making headlines with a powerhouse lineup of performers and major milestones.

Sombr has officially been added to the ever-expanding roster of performers at the 2026 BRIT Awards. The emerging international talent is also up for two major awards this year:

  • International Song of the Year for “Undressed”

  • International Artist of the Year

His inclusion in the performance lineup places him alongside a diverse and high-profile group of artists including Rosalía, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson, Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, and Alex Warren.

The ceremony continues to broaden its international reach this year. K-pop act HUNTR/X will pre-record a special performance outside the Manchester venue, making history as the first K-pop artist ever to perform at the BRIT Awards.

One of the most talked-about returns of the year belongs to Harry Styles, who will perform live at the BRIT Awards for the first time in nearly three years.

The former One Direction member is set to appear at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena — a venue in which he holds a minority stake through Oak View Group. His last BRIT Awards performance was in 2023, a night that saw him walk away with four trophies, including Album of the Year for Harry’s House.

Styles’ previous global tour, Love On Tour, wrapped up in Bologna, Italy, in July 2023. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited his next chapter — and it’s arriving in a big way.

💿 A New Album and Global Residency

Following the BRIT Awards, Styles will release his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, arriving on March 6. The first single, “Aperture,” dropped on January 22, with the singer teasing that the record was “meant to be listened to loud.”

He also recently announced his Together Together global residency, launching May 17 in Amsterdam. The tour will travel through:

  • Amsterdam

  • London

  • Mexico City

  • São Paulo

  • New York

  • Melbourne

Before concluding in Sydney on December 13.

Adding to the excitement, Styles revealed two additional nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, bringing his total number of shows there to 12. This achievement surpasses the previous record set by Coldplay, who performed 10 Wembley shows during their Music of the Spheres World Tour in 2024.

He also overtakes Taylor Swift, who performed eight Wembley dates during her The Eras Tour in 2024 — setting a new benchmark for solo artists.

🏆 Nomination Leaders and a Historic Location Shift

This year’s nominations, revealed on January 21, place Olivia Dean and Lola Young at the top with five nominations each. Close behind is Sam Fender with four nods.

Notably, the 2026 ceremony marks the first time the BRIT Awards will be held outside London — a significant shift in the event’s history. Manchester’s Co-op Live arena will host the prestigious night, signaling a broader celebration of music culture across the UK.

🎉 A Ceremony to Watch

With global superstars, rising talents, and record-breaking milestones all converging in one night, the 2026 BRIT Awards promises to be one of the most memorable editions yet.

From Sombr’s highly anticipated performance to Harry Styles’ major comeback moment, fans around the world will be tuning in for a celebration of music at its most dynamic and international.

February 28 can’t come soon enough.
